Board Announces February Meeting of Standing Advisory Group

Washington, DC, January 25, 2006 – The Public Company Accounting Oversight Board announced today that it has scheduled a meeting of its Standing Advisory Group for Thursday, February 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the Army and Navy Club, 901 17th Street, N.W., Washington, DC.

The matters to be considered by the advisory group are the auditor's use of specialists in performing an audit; risk assessment and the auditor's consideration of materiality in planning an audit; and possible effects of the inclusion of litigation-related clauses in audit engagement letters.
